The Brenin Brewery
At Plas y Brenin, The National Mountain Centre we take great pride in the high standard of everything we provide. Our courses, instructors, coaches, equipment, accommodation, facilities, food and customer service are all first class.
With over one hundred and twenty comfortable beds in our hotel-standard centre and almost every one in use every single day of the year, our bar is a very lively place. Which is why we apply the same high standards to the drinks we serve.
Not content to dish up the usual soulless brews, we set our sights a little higher.
With the help of local brewers 'Bragdy Nant Brewery' (and of course Humphrey The Great) we've developed a range of local real ales designed to compliment the warm glow experienced after a long day in the outdoors.
But these are not ordinary beers. Each one has an epic tale all of its own and each 'true' story is carefully documented in this leaflet.
Remember, even if you are not on a course or holiday at the National Mountain Centre you are welcome to pop in for a drink and a chat. You'll find there are always adventurers with a tall tale to tell at the National Mountain Centre.
