Adventure Racing
Fast, exhilarating and completely exhausting, adventure racing is not for the feint hearted. Each race offers its own combination of challenges - running, cycling, abseiling, climbing, canoeing, kayaking and occasionally more unorthodox modes of transport. At Plas y Brenin we have a host of experienced and accomplished adventure racers on our instructional team, each one with their own area of expertise. What's more, we are in an outstanding location for adventure racing skills development. We have a purpose built mountain bike skills course and world class mountain biking routes all around us. An on-site artificial abseil tower, two indoor climbing walls, our own private lake, rapids and an indoor heated canoe rolling pool. We have a series of carefully mapped orienteering courses right on our doorstep. And, of course, we have the mountains of Snowdonia stretching out as far as the eye can see.
Can't find what you want?
You can hire one of our coaches instructors or guides for only £250 per day. They'll tailor the day to suit your aims and aspirations perfectly.
You can enjoy one to one coaching for that cost or if you get together as a group, depending on the activity, you can split that cost between up to 6 of you. If you are a group we can run one of the courses listed above on a date that suits you and your friends or you could just write your own agenda for a week or weekend and we'll price it up for you - with or without accommodation.
What's more, just like out normal course fees, our private instructor hire charge covers all your equipment too.
