British Cycling MTB Leaders Conference
(25th-26th February 2017)
This two day conference is for any British Cycling MTB Leader or trainee at any level to get the updates with all the developments for British Cycling leadership awards.
The weekend event will cover all aspects of the awards with some great updates on mechanics, leadership and personal riding.
Practical sessions on Saturday will include:
- Trailside Repair Refresher
- Navigation Refresher
- Casualty Handling best practice
- Preparing for Assessment
- Learning from the trade
- Personal MTB skills
- Transferring from MBLA
Saturday evening will include couple of guest speakers.
On Sunday everyone will be heading out on a ride focusing on various areas including:
- Level 2 Training – What to expect
- Level 2 assessment – What to expect
- Level 3 training – What to expect
- Level 3 assessment – What to expect
- MTB coaching ride
- Working as a commercial guide
- Tutor Pathway
A mix of the leadership delivery team from across the UK will be delivering the workshops here at the National Mountain Sports Centre along side the British Cycling staff, so get booked on for a great weekend of workshops and guest speakers!
There are two options for booking:
Non-residential: £150 to include all workshops, lunch on both days and refreshments.
Residential: £199 to include all workshops, two nights accommodation, all your meals and refreshments
