The Big Summer Walk (1-2 Jun)
- Location &
Following the success of last years Big Walk's, we're dedicating the entire centre to a relaxing summer weekend walking event.
It's your chance to join us at Plas y Brenin to enjoy the Great British Summer with plenty of laid back, scenic walking.
Whether you've walked in Snowdonia before or you've never visited the area this weekend is a great chance for you to get out into the Welsh mountains in good company.
You'll arrive on Friday evening when you'll sign up to the following day's walk choosing from a menu of carefully selected routes.
The guided walks on offer will range from 'nice and gentle' to 'highly challenging', allowing you to decide what level you'd like to walk at and how hard you want to work.
When you come down off the hill on the Saturday you'll join the other groups to enjoy strawberries and cream washed down with a glass of chilled pimms as you gaze out at the Snowdon horseshoe from the terrace.
In the evening you'll enjoy a delicious BBQ on the terrace and possibly even a drop of our locally brewed real ale whilst you chat to other walkers about their adventures in the bar.
On Sunday morning you'll head out on another walk, again selecting the appropriate level from the available list. At the end of the day's walking, you'll return to Plas y Brenin for freshly baked cakes before leaving us on Sunday evening.
To encourage more walkers to enjoy a hard-earned summer break we've kept the cost of 'The Big Summer Walk' down to an absolute minimum.
All your meals (including your packed lunch), afternoon tea and cakes, a comfy bed for the night and two day's guided walking in some of the most stunning mountains the UK has to offer - all for just £160.
