 Why not explore the picturesque hills of Snowdonia with our experienced instructors? On each of the five days you'll walk at your own, comfortable pace through remote, beautiful countryside taking in views from classic mountains like Snowdon, Tryfan, Carneddau, and the Glyders.

 Over the course of these five days you'll develop from having little or no navigational experience to having a firm understanding of mountain navigation techniques. You'll look at the traditional methods of navigation, using a map and compass before moving on to examine the benefits that modern technology can bring, using a handheld GPS system. All of this will, of course, be wrapped up with plenty of walking in the hills, putting everything into practice in real situations to further your understanding.

 Covering the more advanced skills of summer hillwalking and mountaineering, this five day course concentrates on the techniques required for multi-day journeys and travel in the sometimes hostile conditions and rocky terrain encountered in the British mountains. Perfect if you are an experienced hillwalker who wants to develop the necessary techniques of navigation, route finding, expedition camping, basic ropework and hazard awareness needed to look after yourself and your friends or family in the mountains.
