You’ll have a chance to feel what it’s like to plunge through foaming rapids in a canoe, abseil effortlessly down a cliff face, learn the graceful art of downhill skiing and work against the clock as you search for hidden markers using only a finely detailed map and compass. But don’t worry, you’ll always have one of our expert instructors keeping a careful eye on your progress and you’ll never be more than a short stroll away from a hot shower and the welcome comfort of our scenic bar.

Thank you for an excellent week. Our group of 8 took part in all the activities on offer (except skiing) and found the days challenging and yet great fun.

| If you are a keen runner, triathlete, cyclist or gym goer, you will have heard about adventure racing. So what's stopping you getting involved?
Nothing at all. All you need is a solid foundation in basic outdoor skills and you'll soon be tearing around the mountains on your first adventure race.
This fast moving active week covers it all - mountain navigation (including GPS technique), kayak paddling skills, abseiling and climbing techique, mountain bike skills and ultra-lightweight camping . You'll even learn how to cope if it all goes wrong covering improvised first aid, white water safety and rescue, and improvised equipment repairs. You'll leave with tips and tricks from experts in each field, helping you to race faster, further and safer. |
