If you're a teacher, outdoor instructor, or someone involved in any youth work and you are interested in giving youngsters an introduction to orienteering, this course will give you everything you need. From map reading and technical skills right up to how to plan your own course and train others to compete.
This three-day training and assessment course is aimed at anyone who wants to coach orienteering. The level 1 course is the first step on the UKCC coaching pathway for orienteering. Over the three days you learn to coach map reading skills as well as how to plan your own courses.
