 This course is for skiers who would like to gain a safe introduction to the world of off-piste skiing, and a taste of ski touring. This is your chance to get away from the crowds, and carve fresh tracks, without the commitment of a ski tour right away. Instead we take it a day at a time, gaining maximum skiing for minimum effort using the excellent local lift systems. Over six days we aim to give you plenty of variety and mileage under the watchful eye of our Guides. As your off piste skiing improves, you will learn about the skills, equipment and techniques for safe and enjoyable travel in this challenging environment. All you need to do is arrange your travel to Galtr and w'?ll look after everything else. |

 If you have always fancied travelling in the Alps in winter but don't want to ski, this is the course for you.
Based in the stunning Chaine des Aravais this holiday is all about high mountain plateaus, easily reached peaks and enchanting forests with stunning views of the Mont Blanc range ever present.
Easy to reach from Geneva, our Gite in Le Grand Bornands and is idealy placed to access marked trails, adventurous off-piste journeys and even a bit of 'ski-lift assisted' snow shoeing.
We?ll spend the first few days getting used to travelling on snowshoes before heading off on increasingly stunning and adventurous journeys as the week progresses.
Along the way our instructors will teach you about route choice, avalanche avoidance, navigation and emergency procedure. They will also share with you their extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area.

Refresh and develop the essential skills with transceiver searches and avalanche rescue; brush up on the technicalities of using a rope to get you out of trouble; and learn to plan for success with the experience of our Guides to help you avoid the hazards and get the most from your trip.

 This course is for accomplished skiers, who'd like to take their skiing up to the next level, learning to make safe and independent decisions so you can travel in the mountains under your own steam.
The emphasis is on exhilarating travel through the mountains – far from the lifts and crowds – in search of the best snow.
Along the way, our Guides will help you to develop essential skills. The skills that make back country skiing so rewarding, including skinning (ascending on skis); route choice and navigation; glacier travel and crevasse rescue; and safe travel in avalanche terrain.
By the end of the week, you should be fully equipped to confidently organise a ski tour of your own.
The adventure begins in our hotel in Galtur before spending several nights in comfortable mountain huts. All you need to do is get yourself to Galtur and we’ll take care of the rest |

 This six-day adventure is the next step for off-piste skiers to go to places where you can really put those skills to the test. That’s where our guides come in.
With their expert guidance and local knowledge you’ll enjoy a unique journey as you pick your way from one mountain hut to another, taking in high mountain passes, deep powder descents and acres of pristine snow slopes.
What’s more, along the way our guides will teach you how to make your own decisions in the mountains and help you to develop the skills that make ski touring so rewarding.
By the end of the week, you’ll have completed one of the finest ski-tours in the Alps and have a tale to tell that will be the envy of all of your friends.

 With the right equipment and technique, 'skinning' uphill on skis can be easier and much more enjoyable than you would ever imagine. Easily learned, ‘skinning’ can be your passport to off-piste adventure.
This course is for skiers, who dream of standing on top of an Alpine Peak on their skis. Our guides can make all that possible and give you the confidence to enjoy the descent from the top to the full.
Ranging from a quick dash from the top of the furthest lift to a day tour from a comfortable high-mountain hut, the Silvretta Alps boasts a wealth of skiable summits.
Along the way our guides will share their thoughts and decisions with you, allowing you to build your knowledge and confidence of back country skiing. By the end of the week you should have sufficient skills to tackle some ski peaks under your own steam.

 This year we are taking 'Ski Safari 2' to the Otztal valley for even more great off piste adventures. With the world class resorts of HochGurgl/Obergurgl and Solden/Hochsolden there are the hidden gems of Vent and Hochoetz. It all adds up to a lifetime's worth of great skiing, and enough variety to suit all tastes and conditions. All it takes is a little effort (on foot or skins) and fresh tracks are almost guaranteed. Wherever we end up, a short ride on the ski bus will take us back to our comfy hotel - to recharge the batteries for more the next day.

 If you've had a taste of ski-touring, this is the ideal next step for you. This exciting wilderness adventure is a step up from our Silvretta ski tour in every way. Kicking off in the freeride capital of Switzerland 'The Gemsstock' the tour begins by blowing away the cobwebs on a fast moving shake down day, before heading off into the remote splendour of the Urner Alps. From then on it's a continuous journey from one hand-picked mountain hut to another, taking in some of the most amazing skiing and dramatic scenery Europe has to offer.
