Due to Company restructuring an exciting position has arisen for a STORE MANAGER (Betws y Coed)
Stewart R Cunningham Outdoor Centres is an independent, family business with over 35 years experience within the outdoor trade. We were recently voted in the top 3 as one of the best independent retailers in the UK by readers of ‘Walk’ Magazine 2008.
We are dedicated in providing quality products alongside outstanding service. We stock a range of quality brands such as; Paramo, Jack Wolfskin, Scarpa, The North Face, Merrell plus lots, lots more.
Our staff are a key part of our business, as ultimately it is their product knowledge and customer service which ensures our customers leave happy with the right product, ensuring they return time and time again. This is a hand's on position managing the day to day running of this busy store, delivering outstanding levels of customer service within Company policies and procedures in order to maximise sales for the store.

You will have a minimum of 12 months experience of working within the outdoor retail industry, have excellent interpersonal skills, be customer service driven, be target driven, be an effective team leader, be self motivated, have the ability to identify problems and react to them calmly & responsibly, have the ability to work with speed & accuracy through heavy workloads and have a solid career history.
A passion for the outdoors is essential!!

Brief Job Description:
Manage selling & customer service activities Manage, motivate, recruit, train & develop staff Manage incoming stock, stock control, re-ordering & merchandising of stock and POS material Record, analyse & report sales performance This is a permanent position with a competitive salary, bonus system and substantial staff discount. You will work on a rota system, 5 days over 7 including weekends.

Full-time post (35 hours per week)

The BMC is seeking an individual with excellent administrative and organisational skills to work on a range of activities and events within this dynamic and growing National Governing Body of Sport, based in Manchester.
This will be a varied and demanding role requiring a flexible, positive approach.
The post will involve working with specialist officers and volunteers to deliver the work and services of the BMC for climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers in England and Wales.
