Opening Hours

Our Ski Slope is open 6-days a week.

OPENING HOURS

Tuesday to Friday

1pm – 9pm

Saturday

10:30am - 6:00pm

Sunday

10:30am - 6:00pm

The slope has maximum capacity of 30 people - if there are 30 people already on the slope you may have to wait

 

We run a variety of sessions, designed to meet the needs of different skiers, so there should always be something to suit you perfectly. Click on the links below for more details


 

COme and ski or board

If you are a competent skier or boarder who does not require instruction, you can hire equipment and use the ski slope by the hour.

Skiing is subject to space availability. If the slope is full - it's full. Please call before you set off to check availability.

Pay at reception when you arrive. North Wales Snowsport Club members get 20% discount on open practice (you will need to show your membership card)

PRICES FOR OPEN PRACTICE SKIING

1.00pm - 9.00pm Tues - Fri 10.00am - 6.00pm Sat & Sunday

Adult

£10 for first hour, £5 for each additional hour.

Children

£8 for first hour, £4 for each additional hour

The slope has maximum capacity of 30 people - if there are 30 people already on the slope you may have to wait.

14 yrs old plus, can ski unsupervised under 14 require adult supervision (supervisors not required to be on skis).

 

 

Have A Go Sessions

Come along and have a go at skiing, tubing or snowboarding with a qualified instructor. Each session has a strictly limited capacity, so give us a call on 01690 720214 to avoid disappointment.

Please make sure you arrive 30 minutes before your session, and that you have long trousers, long sleeves and gloves.

 


GROUPS

The ski slope is available for group bookings and there is a discount available for school groups - see prices below

Groups need to arrive half an hour before the start of the session, to get kitted up and should allow approximately 15 minutes at the end of their session, to return ski kit to the stores.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

NWSC LogoIf you'd like to learn to ski, improve your technique or iron out a few creases and build your confidence before your ski holiday, a one to one session with an instructor can be the best way to learn. North Wales Snowsports Club can arrange an experienced, qualified and understanding instructor to be available at a time that suits you. North Wales Snowsport Club Sessions


NWSC LogoNorth Wales Snowsports Club run regular skiing and snowboarding sessions on our slope. New members are always very welcome to attend a session with the club. On your initial visit, you will be covered by North Wales Snowsport Club insurance, but if you wish to attend further sessions, you'll need to become a member. Membership forms are available in the ski room or you can join online via the North Wales Snowsports Club website

 

All NWSC adult sessions are £8 and under 16's are £6

  • Tuesday

6 – 7pm - Snowboard lessons – pre book
7 – 8.15pm - Beginners and intermediates (anyone above approx. 10yrs)

  • Wednesday

7 – 8.15  - adults ONLY - NOT beginners
   must be able to use the ski tow, turn & stop.

  • Friday

6 – 7.15  Friday Flyers, junior race training
must be assessed before attending.

  • Saturday
    1 – 1.45 Minis (approx. 3 – 8yrs)
     2 – 2.20pm Tubing
     2.30 – 3.30 Beginners (anyone above approx. 7yrs)
     3.40 – 4 Tubing
     4.15 – 5.15 Intermediates and Basic Race Training

 

  • Sunday
    11 – 11.45 Minis (approx. 3 – 8yrs)
    12 – 12.20 Tubing
    12.30 – 1.30 Slopestyle for skiers & boarders
    1.45 - 2.45 Snowboard session
