Salary: up to £35,000, pro-rata
22 hours, 3 days per week. Fixed term 18-month contract.
Here at the National Mountain Sports Centre in the heart of Snowdonia, we are a medium-size employer with a team of around ninety employees. We are currently in an exciting phase of transition, and are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide us with the capacity we need to achieve our aims and objectives over the coming 18 months.
You will provide corporate HR support by working closely with Senior Managers, in particular contributing to the design of an ongoing HR provision that addresses business requirements.
You will keep abreast of developments in HR issues and act as a key adviser on employment law; HR strategy and employment policy matters, ensuring that the Mountain Training Trust is at the forefront of HR best practice.
The remit is broad. You will have experience of advising on change and guiding an organisation through people processes and procedures, you will also have experience of HR casework supporting managers across the whole spectrum of employment issues from recruitment through to performance management and compliance.
You will be comfortable in interpreting data, preparing and presenting reports and information to a variety of audiences including Board Members.
You will have previous all-round HR experience at a managerial level and be working towards CIPD qualification/membership.
Welsh language is desirable as we work very closely with the local community and many of our team are Welsh.
