British Canoeing Advanced Canoe Leader Assessment

  • Paddle
  • Canoeing
  • British Canoeing Award

You'll need to be on top of your game for this assessment. We'll be testing that you've honed all the personal skills, leadership ability and judgement needed to lead other paddlers who are experienced themselves at advanced white water, and advanced open water levels. You'll be showing you're at a level that means you can lead groups of up to four solo paddlers, or three tandem crews in open canoe, whether that's on advanced river journeys or on remote, exposed open waters.
