A women's only day of coaching aimed at getting you started out in mountain biking. We'll help you to develop good technical riding habits right from the start which will make all the difference long term. Plus we'll ensure your bike is set up right for you so that you can spend a full day in the hills. You'll spend the day on our purpose-built skills course where our friendly, highly qualified instructors will introduce you to the fundamental techniques of mountain bike riding.
We’re surrounded by some of the finest mountain biking routes in Europe, with world class single track routes, including the Gwydyr Forest trails and the Penmachno Trail right outside our back door. Other classic trails at Coed y Brenin and Coed Llandegla are only a short drive from our centre. Plus, there’s the iconic ride of Snowdon. But you'll also find purpose-built skills and coaching circuit and bike workshop facility with a wide range of tools and resources, plus maps to help you get the most from the area.

What to Expect
We'll start off by checking your current skills, and then coach you in the areas you want to improve in.

This course provides you with the building blocks to confidently develop your riding skills
As both your body and mind will be working hard whilst you're with us, we want to help you focus on achieving the goal you've set yourself. So if you're staying with us, comfortable accommodation (with WIFI included) and home-cooked meals are part of the deal, you don't need to think about sorting this out for yourself. Support is on hand from our friendly, and exceptionally well qualified staff, to help develop your understanding and personal skills. They also help you to formulate an appropriate action plan for your further development.
You should bring your own MTB plus your regular MTB equipment and clothing, helmet etc. You can hire a mountain bike and equipmement locally and arrange for it to be delivered to our base in time for the start of your course.
Spend some time on a bike to get comfortable with riding and build some basic riding fitness.
