Today, Friday 7 August, is a hugely exciting day for Plas y Brenin, as we welcome back our first residential course guests after a break of 140 days.

We took the decision to close the centre due to the threat posed by coronavirus (COVID-19) on 20 March. As lockdown measures have eased, we have been gradually reopening elements of our operations in line with the relevant legislation and our own phased approach.

We have rigorously reviewed our operational procedures to ensure the safety of all our customers and staff, with enhanced hygiene procedures and social distancing in place throughout the site to facilitate residential stays. This takes us Phase 4 of our reopening plan, ‘Residential Course Programme Delivery’.

Please note that for the time being, we are only open to customers who have booked scheduled courses, Epic Adventure Days and private instruction with us. For now, our bar will only be open to these customers, and our equipment stores and shop remain closed.

If you would like to make a booking with us, please browse our website for what’s available, or get in touch with our customer services team if you have specific dates in mind and need an activity to match.

We are continuing to work hard to open up more to visitors as soon as possible; to stay up to date with all our latest news, sign up to receive email updates at the foot of this page.
