From the Westcountry, Sabby spent much of her youth around the Devon and Cornish Coast, teaching surfing and beach lifeguarding. It took a while for her to turn around and face inland towards the sea cliffs and realise the potential for climbing, but once she had, climbing and then mountaineering would take over both her personal and professional life.
Having a deep interest in both education and the individual’s development, Sabby has worked in schools teaching Outdoor Education as well as coaching climbing performance in adults.
Her favourite things about working at PYB are the folks you get to meet, sharing time and experiences in the mountains, and the views across the Welsh hills (when it’s not raining!)
Rock climbing ascents around the UK, favourites being multi-pitch sea and mountain adventures and ticking her way through the ‘Hard Rock’ tick list.
Sabby has also climbed extensively across Europe including the Alps and over to Morocco’s Atlas and Anti Atlas Mountains.

Also a passionate fell runner, Sabby races in ultra-distance events and is hoping to get a bit faster! She’s also got an impressive list of ridges and passes in Switzerland she is off to run and cycle.
