Updated 9am, Monday 10 February: roads have now re-opened. There are still some high winds and standing water on roads, please travel with care.

Updated 6.43pm: the A5 between Llyn Ogwen and Nant Ffrancon is now open with temporary traffic lights in place. The A470 at Llanwrst remains closed.

Due to the effects of the wind and rain from Storm Ciara, there is currently no major road access to Plas y Brenin.

The A470 at Llanwrst and A5 between Llyn Ogwen and Nant Ffrancon are both closed in both directions.

We are continuing to monitor the weather reports, on-the-ground conditions and are using official guidance from the relevant agencies. We are giving full support to customers currently staying with us, and those who are due to depart today. We are also in the process of making contact with customers due to join us this evening and tomorrow to make them aware of the current situation and will keep them updated on any developments.
