Tamsin is a seasonal instructor for Plas y Brenin, specialising in mountaineering and climbing. She has joined Plas y Brenin part-time as an instructor and spends the rest of her year working across the globe as a mountain guide. She continually finds motivation in helping other people to realize their own ambitions in the mountains.

Achievements

Climbing Beyond Good and Evil ED 3 on Aiguille des Pelerins, putting up a new WI6 ice route in Norway, skiing Mt Elbrus in Russia from its Northside as part of the 1st British team to do so, skiing the Couloir in Coire an Lochan, running the Cuillin ridge in summer, kayaking the Apurimac, the main source of the Amazon and once, consistently doing yoga every day for a month!

Ambitions

To climb harder, bike faster, ski better, learn French and hold a handstand…who doesn’t?!
