Thank you to everyone who took part in our social challenge #StaircaseSnowdon this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Together, we hiked Snowdon (indoors) 40 times, that’s a huge 184,400 total steps from participants across the country. We know it’s a challenging time right now so an extra thank you to all those who stayed home and continued to protect those around them.
#StaircaseSnowdon challenged participants to a total of 4,610 steps – the equivalent of walking up Snowdon – on their staircase at home, and share on their social media channels for a chance to win a weekend experience at Plas y Brenin, choosing from a selection of climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and paddle sports to suit their experience level, and skill set.
We’re pleased to announce and offer a huge congratulations to our winner Duncan Sutcliffe who further to completing the challenge, has won a weekend experience of his choice at Plas y Brenin for when we re-open.
Check out @plasybreninofficial on Instagram for more challenges and chances to win over the next few weeks as we continue to bring the outdoors in during the on-going COVID-19 crisis.
